Hunter Schulman is a Manhattan-based photographer with a passion for visual storytelling. Born and raised in the heart of New York City, he draws inspiration from the energy of urban life. His work aims to do more than document–it seeks to preserve moments in time.
Hunter's dedication to his craft has led him to study in several respected programs. He attended the School of Cinema and Performing Arts Photography Program in 2023 and was selected for the School of New York Times Photography Program in 2024. In 2025, he further refined his perspective through the Andrew French Workshop and was honored with a Silver Key in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
His photography has taken him from the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu to the vibrant streets of Morocco, the beaches of Anguilla, and the cliffs of the Galapagos. During the Andrew French Workshop, he worked closely with models in studio settings. Whether abroad or riding the Q train through Manhattan, Hunter strives to capture the essence of a moment–authentic, impactful, and thoughtfully composed.
